Model Description:

For many years we were asked to produce a twin cylinder horizontal engine, the Stuart Score was the answer. It is closely related to the Stuart D10 but is distinctive enough to be attractive in its own right.

To assist the beginner the book Building a Vertical Steam Engine. is available. It describes in detail the machining of all the components, and is full of advice for the more challenging operations.

Please remember our sets of castings require the use of a lathe and milling machine to turn them into a working steam engine.
